My wife called in for the permit and the lady was amazingly helpful. She expedited the process and got us a same day inspection before the application was even approved.

Glad to hear something at least went your way out of all the other problems that probably went along with your event. I'm sure they could have drug you out and left you without power over the weekend, which would have sucked.
