The summit was held in Apex (duh, it was a summit) and although no resolutions were passed; the food and camarderie were excellent. :mrgreen:

Son of a gun. I wish I could have made it! A good old Canadian boy wouldn't have been all that bad in that mix, eh? Oh well, that's what I get for staying in all morning playing with the new DT jig and losin' track of time! (My wife was tryin to get rid of me this morning I think. Makin' way too much noise!)

Canuk, it's Jasper Canada. North of Banff National Park and the "ice fields" in Alberta. Moose, elk, bear, and moutain goats abound :mrgreen:

I spent about two weeks out there in the Calgary/Banff area back in the early '70's. I got a chance to go up there to Jasper and take a wee hike on the glacier! Sure is scenic country! Lake Louise is one place everyone should have a chance to see at least once. I was fortunate enough to go in September, so the weather was terrific.

Wayne, it is an awesome place. My visit was in 99 and the Banff area was "touristy". However, Lake Louise and Jasper remain absolute jewels.
