End table with hue light

Made this custom end table with a hue bulb in the middle I have it rigged up as a motion detection where if my father gets out of his recliner or goes to his stairs and it's dark out it will light up the floor as he has tripped over the dog before... Overall a simple design

Wood:
Purple heart
Wenge
Cherry
Sapele
And I think gum wood?

Looks nice. Wood slats as diffusers always give a nice and homey look.

I once saw a corner lamp that looked somewhat like a much taller and more narrow edition of your table, with a columnar led light inside. I've wanted to duplicate it for a long time.
