Emily Gets a Pen

I will start this thread by saying that pictures are forthcoming. I took the spalted Cumala pen



that I made to the gathering in the mountains. During dinner at Lonestar on Friday night, I as well as the others in my group really felt that the waitress (Emily) did a superb job in taking care of us. So, I felt compelled to do something for her. I introduced our small group as woodworkers and presented the pen to Emily as a token of my appreciation to someone dedicated enough to put up with me after a few adult beverages:rotflm:. Peteb301 has the obligatory pictures on his camera and together we will post them. I believe that random acts of kindness are one of the things that make us a special group of people. I will add the pic to this thread when Pete sends it to me after he gets home. Emily if you are reading this, Thank You for the excellent service!!!!

It really was a GREAT event, including the dinner Friday Night where Emily was our wait person. However the adult beverage was 'average', but that's another embarrasing story. - for me !!:rotflm::rotflm:
