You know, no matter how good Festool is, you still need hand tools. I'm not seeing any. That's not a real shop! But it's very pretty though...ohhh, shiny.....

Love their coffee workstation though.

Man, I spent waaaay too long staring at that picture trying to find the coffee workstation :icon_scra...then I realized there was a link underneath to more pics :slap: :rolf:

Very impressive setup! I can't help but wonder how much it cost to stock all that Festool stuff :swoon:

I bet they make you take your shoes off at the door and put your drink on a coaster. :rotflm:

I would feel really weird working in a shop that is that clean. :week:

Heck, the floor cost more than all of the tools in my shop -- looks like Brazillian Rosewood -- and do you think they had enough sanders at that station?

All that nice shiny new space age stuff, kinda makes you wonder how the best furniture made (hundreds of years ago) was done with chisels and planes that didn't even have the back of their blades flattened:eusa_thin. Well I guess we all need bigger, better, feaster, more ; but will it really produce better quality. Flattening was done using winding sticks, not straight edges accurate to.0001".

Well you can't stop progress.

Jimmy:)
