Dust collection for Bosch 1250DEVS

Has anyone worked out dust collection to a Fein for the 1250? Apparently the adapter sold by Bosch does not work.

If tool manufacturers are concerned about user's health it sure does not show up in ease of hooking up dust collection.

First off, welcome to the best woodworking fourm on the planet. I tried doing a quick search trying to find out what size the outlet is on the Bosch. The Fein vac has a rubber sleeve that works on a lot of tools to fit between the hose and the tool. If that does not work then I would take the Bosch adaptor with me to the borg and try to find a piece of rubber hose that might work to connect the 2.

Make sure you going to the "who we are fourm" and introduce yourself.

I should have said I have tried PVC fittings, rubber hoses (drain hose for a washing machine was close) (Lowes/HD) and about everything else I can think of. The rubber sleeve for the Fein, which I use often, does not work in this case. The outlet is 19mm thus the problem fitting. As I mentioned other woodworkers (on another forum) said the adapter to 1 1/2" does not fit & not waste my money.

I was hopeful someone has worked this out. This sander generates too much dust not to have it attaced to a dust collector.
