DQ proof?

Went to Woodcraft today.How do you go about getting DQ id? I missed my discount:gar-Cr.

The discount is not available at Woodcraft but is at Klingspor.

Robert, if you go under "SHOP" and then "Discount Program" there are discount cards you can print. As Tar Heel stated WC does not give us a discount. Also NCWW sends Klingspor a discount qualified list. If you are qualified you will already show up in there system.

Woodcraft offers 10% to many of the local clubs (Charlotte Woodturners, for instance), but for some reason won't work with NCWW.

As already noted, the NCWW discount is at Klingspor ... not WC.

I'm pretty sure there is a Klingspore in Charlotte. I think it may be alittle closer. Never been to either one though. I always go to Winston.

Steve, I am a TWA member and NO we do not get any discounts at the WC here in Raleigh. Maybe the Charolette and Greensboro stores have a different policy.

Charlotte and Raleigh have the same owner. Greensboro store is owned by the woodcraft itself.

Yes we get a card during the meetings. It has an expiration date of about a month. The cards are exactly like the ones handed out during last year's picnic at the lake.

Grrrrr.... I was in the Raleigh Woodcraft store off Glenwood Ave. on Thurs and Fri. I dropped almost $400 on them for just some small stuff -- router cutters, a metal detector, tenoning jig, saw blades, bunch of clamps, etc.

I should have nagged them about not giving us a discount.

Donna, you are closer to Klingspor anyway. Once you are DQ, that's where I would go if I were you.
