Door Repair

Making inset doors for a painted cabinet and noticed this on the bottom corner of one door. Tear out about 1/16” deep an about 3/4” long. I had the reveal nailed at 3/32” all way round. Not sure how I acquired this gouge!

is there a product/filler for a quick repair. I hoping not to mess up the door to faceframe reveal.

Would something like Kwik Wood or Famowood work, failing a door rebuild?

Thanks

Wayne

Chris is correct. You can parch cut in just the section, or in some cases, you need to rip the whole stile down and re-glue a full length piece. Either way will work. If is it only getting a stain then the fulkl length allows you to hide the repair.

I've got plenty of Bondo if you want to drive out to my shop (just west of Jordan Lake off of Hwy 64).

Thanks for the offer, Bobby!
