Lincoln woodturner to lead workshop

The Lincoln County Historical Association and Lincoln Cultural Center will host a workshop "The Mystery of Wood" on Saturday in the cultural center reception hall. Woodturner Don Olsen of Lincoln County will lead the workshop and show a slide presentation demonstrating the process of crafting rough wood into works of art.
The second half of the workshop includes a tour of the exhibition "Don Olsen: The Mystery of Wood" in the Cochrane and Carolina Mills Galleries.
The cultural center is at 403 East Main St. in Lincolnton.
