I'm not sure if everyone would consider this a hot deal, but I was surprised when the latest WW Supply catalog appeared on my desk. The Delta 20" scrollsaw, which I thought was clone of the well-regarded Dewalt 788, is on sale for $450 with stand and light. That seems like quite a deal - I paid $350 for mine used, though it was the "type 1" saw.
Is there any difference between this and the Dewalt? 'Cause that seems like a heck of a deal if there isn't. Maybe this is old news. If so, I apologize for dredging it up.
