I am in need of 8 Cypress Logs 8-10" in diameter and straight.

4 need to be 10' long and 4 need to be 12' long.

Green or Dry.

Any suggestions where I can buy these?

Not sure if he has the size of stuff you are looking for, but worth the ask!

Cypress is a coastal wood species so you won't find it in your back yard.

+1 to Ivey Pridgen in Burgaw. It's only 163 miles one way from Ramseur (read beach trip as the highlight).

BTW, why do you need cypress specifically for your project?

I consulted with our resident expert Mr Scott Smith and it was STRONGLY advised as the MOC for a Pergola I am installing on a new patio at my place on the coast. These are for the posts. I was given 800 Bd Ft of milled, clear 2X10 cypress by a friend in PA.

Gotcha. I also agree with Scott and cypress is a pleasure to work with. Since your going to the coast anyway for the build a swing by Ivey's place isn't a stretch.

BTW, take your camera too. :icon_cheers

Oh, this build will be well documented with photos. Hoping to get my son, a gifted stone mason, down next year to help with the final touches. Stone facing the perimeter walls, 6 lighted stone pillars, a gas fire pit and cooking area. I just have to drive back to my old property in PA. Part of the sale agreement was future recovery of an old, cut stone barn foundation. My wife laughed at me until she saw what nice stone costs around here!
