I've been looking at several crosscut sleds with the miter fences. It seems that a lot of pictures always show the sled to the left of blade. Dubby, Rockler, etc. It would seem to me that you would want one on the right side of the blade so you can bring the blade to 45 degrees. If it was on the left it would hit the fence. What am I not seeing?

Thanks,
Bryan

A lot of these set ups are reversible, ie the sled fence being on the inside. I have made homemade sleds both ways and prefer the sled on the right side of the blade for the table support when I had a saw with a 50" rip.
