Yes, been through several. Most were so far off as to be useless. ( I have a sling to verify. ) My current one is a Taylor.
Just ordered one that will talk to my phone. I think I sent at least three back to Amazon as they were off by as much as 20%. 3% is about as good as a consumer one. "Accu" whatever's sure are not! It is actually pretty difficult to measure.

In our house, the crawl space is the return air plenum. It has a 6 mil poly barrier, with one inch of sand covering the poly. In older part of house there is a 32 ton solar heat storage area, consisting of #57 washed stone, laid on top of 1" styrafoam, covered by 1/2" thick drywall board, then stone. It was adapted from a USDA solar house plan. Anytime I go under there, I come out covered in dust from the sand, as it's bone dry.
