This weekend I put together a dust hood for my Jet contractor style table saw. It works fairly well so I thought I would share :).

The design is very simple (similar to one I found on the net that is made out of sheet metal). One thing I really like about the design is the connector exits at an angle and not straight down:

I used 1/2" ply for all pieces.
For the connector I used a 4" metal connector that they sell at Lowes for connecting dryers.
I used closed cell foam tape to seal the interface between the tablesaw and the dust hood.

I also have a "dustroyer" by cubicdissection on the back of the tablesaw.
With this combination I don't see any more dust on the floor or out the back of the saw.
Of course there is still dust generated on the top of the saw. This is my first attempt at dust collection, so far so good!

And a couple more poor pictures :)
