For those who will remember, I tore out an existing kitchen in my doublewide and replaced the cabinets with cherry cabinets that I made from scratch. I stand back now and can't believe my husband and I were able to accomplish this project. He is quick to tell everyone that he is only the fetch and carry guy, that I did all the work. But I couldn't have done it without him. I used blond 3/4" plywood for the cabinets and solid cherry for faceframes with 1/4" sheets of cherry plywood for the door inserts and a sheet of 3/4" cherry plywood in a couple of places. Thanks for sharing with me and for all the help that everyone here provided along the way. Lorraine

Great job, Lorraine! I particularly like the wine/plate storage feature at the corner -- that worked out very nicely. You should be proud of what you've accomplished.

Lorraine, you should pat yourself on the back. The cabinets are really nice and I know you are very proud of them. I have built cabinet and bathroom vanities for two houses with my wife's help and I know how much work it is, but also very satisfying when you finish and step back to admire your work.

Super nice job, Lorraine!!!!:eusa_danc:eusa_danc:eusa_danc:eusa_danc:eusa_danc:eusa_danc:eusa_danc:eusa_danc

You have added some really great design elements there. The microwave garage and the bookshelves above really caught my eye!!!! Utilizing all possible space seems to be one of your great design themes!

You must be glad that it is done as well as very happy with the results.

A great accomplishment, for sure!

Give yourself a big pat on the back!:eusa_clap I too really like the plate and wine rack you incorperated in the design.

Just one question. When are you going to invite us all over to sample the wine? :drunken_s

Great job

Wonderful work.:eusa_clap

I too had to stop and take in the use of space.
There are some really useful ideas you have implemented.
Was all of this your ideas or did you have some plans?
