CNC shop recomendation

Hi Team
I am understand that this is off topic, but maybe you can help me any way.
I am try to build boat like this and need some place that can do aluminum CNC cutting/banging for me. Any recommendations? Preferable RDU area but i can drive for 2-3h simply.

What size of Al cutting are you looking for? I own a 1200W xTool MetalFab CNC that can handle 2' x 2'. It has pass thru on both sides ... so can handle 2' x whatever.

I understand, my laser CNC won't handle that large. If you need to do Al welding. The MetalFab is also a 1200W welder.

Do you have a Makers Space near your location, Majority of town/ city's have what's called Makers Space. And all sorts of tooling an training small fee to get involved, You can find them at your local Community College / College that has a stand alone building for this purpose. They may be able to help..

Tarheel Filing in Raleigh has a CNC with a large table (like maybe 8’ x 8’).

You'll need to find a proper fabrication shop if you're wanting to have someone cnc cut that large of a piece and then have a break big enough to bend it. That's a pretty good length.

There are a couple of local job shops we use in Rock Hill, I know it's a drive but might be worth a call. It could be they know of shops closer to RDU.

It is a lot of parts, Most of 3mm (1/8") and 6mm (1/4") one part is 10mm.
I have all of cutting files.

For an old person, The last industrial machine I used was driven by hexadecimal, These cut files which I some what understand.. but if your running a program that has material that's 1 inch thick an using a very small endmill, when you write the programs can you designate how many passes at a certain depth / speed .And then carry on with the next line item ?

Not sure if I understand you right.
My cut files basically 2d curve. It doesn't have any information about depth.
I think it should be done on machine.

Just running an end mill in a piece of stock, The stock is 1 inch thick, end mill 1/4 inch. Just wondering if when program is written it takes this into account, you don't want a plunge cut a 14 inches a minute travel at 1800 rpm.. Is that the computer AI thinks, or does a human have to put in all the variables.. This new technology is very interesting from my days, I did graduate from hexadecimal to mylar tape..

I don't have gcode (exact program for machine, typically it is machine related) - basically I have files with contour of each part. I also think Laser trimming could be right solution for my project.

Being OLD... This g-code some what blows my mind, I worked in Binary -- C+C+C + Fortran.. Just a curious OLD person.. Thanks 👍

Ive done both... punch tapes to current software programs. Yes, you have to input variables like feeds (IPM and step depth as well as stepover) and speeds and define start points as well as material thickness parameters. But, its WAY simpler today than the OLD days!!! These softwares today never cease to amaze me.

I had a Greek Gentleman teach me so many things back in the early 70's, He used a #2 pencil in a collet on his CNC / Mylar Tape Milling Machine when ever the brain trust would send down a new program., He would run the table, an not turn on the head, with the pencil hanging down to the longest tool length an running a 28 minute program it would show all the problems, Engineering the Brain Trust would never allow for toggle clamps an or hold down bars, with the table on a fast creep an the pencil hanging down we could adjust the problem by jogging around or up an over. The brain trust would get so upset because we changed stuff.
