The LOML surprised me with the Grizzly Tenoning Jig! (see my avatar) Sweet piece of workmanship ... can't wait to use it. I think this will be especially useful with miter-lock router bit. I have always had a problem with holding the vertical piece perfectly positioned. Will let you folks know how that works!

She also gave me the 170-piece brad-point drill bit set from Woodcraft!

Oh yeah .... for all you pen turners ........... the LOML also gave me the mandrel setup, extra bushings and four pen kits. Sheesh ... she actually wants me to USE my lathe! :rolf:

Nope, I've been VERY good! :-D
My wife left Friday to be with her parents in Florida, so we exchanged our gifts on Thursday night.

I guess she was VERY, VERY good ... she got diamond & sapphire earrings!;-)

Let us know what you think of the tenoning jig - it looks sweet!! :)

I'd be curious to know what you think about the brad-point bit set. I have a set of Dewalt bits but they aren't a "point" and tearout is significant.
