Hi all!
Moved to NC in 2022 but only had enough space to do some woodworking this year. Before this I was in NY, got a handful of lessons from a cabinet maker building this attached entryway table in 2018, and after started working on small projects while teaching myself with YouTube channels (I've been throwing Rex Krueger a few dollars a month the past few years)
Have never had the space for a big operation, so Ive primarily done hand tool stuff (have some Japanese pull saws, fixed up a Stanley 3 & 5, on the lookout for a 7 or 8) on low roman-style travel benches. That being said, I have starting collecting some power tools (ROS, Router) and leaning on friends with large garages to hopefully help speed up larger projects. Im currently on the lookout for someone in the area who might let me use their bandsaw for resawing a 16" board before I decide to risk losing material and trying it by hand.
Sadly not sure I have much to offer other than some scuba diving stories, but happy to join the community if you'll have me!
