Here is an attempt to post a carving detail of the volute on the ears of the writing arm chair. Hope it worked again.

It was all freehand PappyJ---------and a variety of size and sweeps on the carving chisels. I think I had about 200 bucks in chisels to do the volute carvings.:crybaby2: But if you are going to do it you have to have the tools!!!:eusa_danc

If I ever make anything that needs any carving, I will have to farm out that work to Jerry! I could barely whittle a sharp point on a stick!
