cant get rid of old site url

When I try to get to the new site in chrome I start typing and it autofills http://ncwoodworker.net I hit enter then it redirects me to https://www.ncwoodworker.net/forums/search.php?do=getdaily&days=15 which no longer exists

any idea how to get it to stop? I have to delete everything to the 3rd slash then hit enter again before new site works.

Type https://www.ncwoodworker.net a few times until Chrome gets the idea (or delete your browsing history in Settings on Chrome).

Had trouble too until Scott Miller advised that if I deleted cookies, and deleted your old NCWW in favorites, then typed www.ncwoodworker into your browser you will arrive here. You must be on the right track, you're here.

in Chrome, I selected to delete 7 days of browse history. That fixed it for me.

I do the same thing with my brain every Friday. It reduces weekend stress, and keeps work fresh the following Monday
