Not much woodworking as it is gluing dust back together . I just get excited when all the clamps come out!

Well it was certainly impressive. How long did it take you to set all those clamps. Hopefully less time than it took the glue to dry.

Glue up is sometimes my most nervous part of a project. Trying to get all the clamps in place and equal pressure on them while the clock is ticking on the setup time of the glue.

I think around 10 mins. Definitely felt like I was cutting it close . I am using cold press veneer glue and it seems to have a reasonable working time.

Your method looks much more manageable than mine...I think clamps beat vacuum press for this job...how many layers did you end up using and are you going to veneer the final surfaces?

One sheet only yielded 5 layers which is 5/8". I wanted 3/4 but I really think this is enough.

No veneer. I want this speaker to disappear so the finish will be very boring. As in matte black paint . My next project will be solid wood!
