Bubblehead

I just registered two days ago after having found this site in a general search. I am just getting back into woodworking after several years away. I have lived in Elon (Burlington area) for the past 15 years. Married for 31 years (to the same woman) with 4 children and 4 grandchildren. 3 sons all in the Marine Corp; I don't know what happened, I am retired from the Navy submarine force.

My skills are overall at a novice level from long disuse, but great interest and experience with machinery is helping to bring them back.

I look forward to the exchanges in this forum.

Welcome to the sawdust pile Bubblehead. I grew up just outside of Elon and am out by the Indian Valley golf course a few miles behind Western Alamance HS, there's another member out this way too.

I was a nuke MM and spent a little time turning the screws on the Enterprise. It seams like eons ago, 6 years all total the last 4 on the big E. We will have to get together and trade some sea stories.
