One of the best 10" table saws ever made for under $500.
I happen to have TWO of these. As my business has expanded I don't have the space to afford this luxury. So I am selling one to make room.

I owned one of these saws some time ago (mid 90s). I was quiet and reasonably powerful and... dangerous as any piece of power equipment I ever owned. So much so that I did some research (early internet days). What I found was evidence of multiple lawsuits for the same problem I was experiencing... the blade drifted up during use without any help.

The absence of a miter slot was also frustrating... something I thought I could live without but learned that the old way was indeed the better way.

I find that very hard to believe. I too had a BT-3000 and found it to be a very innovative saw with the sliding miter built into the saw that worked very well. I did some research on the net and have yet to find any information regarding any lawsuits filed against Ryobi regarding the specific saw mentioned, fraid I'm gonna have to throw the BS book out on this one. While I now have a Ridgid R4511 I would not hesitate to buy another BT if the price was right as a backup saw in a minute, very well built and safe saw IMO.

No problem at all, simply show the data that you referenced. I don't think that they purged the old early days internet for a new one.

Also, there is an entire forum dedicated to its use by owners/users... not Ryobi run to my knowledge. From what I've seen it's not a collection point for design flaw grievances.

Have a look:
