bringing an interesting little vintage rocker back to life

we have had this chair in the attic for a long time,, getting some other pieces re-ulpolstered so decided this could use a strip and refinish,, it has a separate frame for the ulpostery that is held in by 8 large screws,, after stripping the opaque dark layers found it was nice cherry!!! I like the design much more now, uses the strength of the grain to best advantage, thinking that tracing out the patterns might be a good thing.. not an overly complex piece, band saw, one turning and a little shaping for the end sections.. something that might look great in tiger maple or quarter sawn oak
