Box glued up update

I had planned to take the wife out today and stop at the picnic for an hour or two, but something came up and we had to stay home:crybaby2::crybaby2::crybaby2:
I did want to be there for a little while:cry:
So I at least made good use of my time, and got my donnations box glued up, Well good or bad its glued:eusa_thin

Earl, I like it, I like it very much. That isn't your everyday donation box. Excellent design, I like the feet and base, and the sliding lid is really nice.
Missed you at the picnic, but someone will have the finest donation box as a result.

The box will only be used on sundays and will have someone attending it, and the donations all are in envlopes. so no lock really needed on it
Got some finish on it now all i need is to wax it

WOW, your finish really made the grain pop out. I like the way you oriented the grain on the sides and the way the grain flows from the end and across the top of the box.
