Just picked up a Bosch Colt palm router - used it all day and it's a great little tool. The only problem I've found concerns the centering of the bit in the sub-base opening. It's far enough off center that it can easily be seen with naked (or dressed) eye. The manual says to loosen the four screws that hold the subbase and adjust its location so that the bit is centered - but it doesn't recommend a way to do this accurately. Any Colt owners out there who have/had the same problem and can suggest a method of centering?

The site is not allowing copy/paste of pics lately, but search centering cones and see if that would work. I use them on my routers. Don't have any routers w/o handles myself.

You could use a 45 degree chamferring bit as a substitute for centering bit. Just don't turn on router. Chuck up the largest guide bushing you have, and use bit to center it. Turn bit 90 degrees and check that way also.
