Some of you may remember when NCWW member David Smith started making cutting boards in Thomasville. David has since retired and the company has continued but is now outside of Dallas, TX. I saw this in a "foodie" newsletter I get. Congrats to David for getting some well deserved recognition!

John, the present owner, lives in Plano. The shop is in Dallas. He was president of the local woodworkers group,
North Texas Woodworker's Association, and has taken on the responsibility of being the secretary. He has contributed many cut-offs to members, including on both of my trips to the shop. The shop is in an industrial area, where he has garage doors on both sides of the building. With the normal Texas winds, he doesn't usually have
an issue with sawdust. LOL
