Does that mean I have to stop complaining about misplacing my glasses?

Maybe we should introduce him to Bill Akins...

I saw it last week when it aired the first time. He is truly amazing and has way more guts than I.

I cringed when he put his hand near the spinning blades and belts. Very talented and a war veteran as well.:icon_thum

Seems like there should be more to this story. It would be interesting to have them provide a little more detail in how he sets measurements or does any type of pattern layout as shown in the magazine rack he is building.

I know of three other blind woodworkers. I consider Bob Kennedy a friend. See his web site here - http://www.woodworkinginthedark.com/

Bob and his good friend Glen have been fairly regular demonstrators of wood turning at the Raleigh Woodcraft. Several years ago they were demonstration turning bottle stoppers and within 15 or 20 minutes both were teaching sighted folks how to turn.

Both Bob and Glen live in the Durham/ Chapel Hill area.
