Black Locust Lumber in North or South Carolina

Does any one know where I can buy some Black Locust lumber in North Carolina or South Carolina?

There's a small sawmill on the side of HWY 421, half way between Wilkesboro and Boone. Very reasonable. They specialize in hemlock and locust mill work. Also, any hardwood mill from Wilkes Co and west will carry some locust lumber from time to time. You'll have to call around. Church and Church lumber is a good place to start, but they may be too big to bother with a small order.

Also, a new company just started in Sawmill, NC called Carolina Locust. They'll be one of the largest suppliers you're going to find I think, assuming the mill is up and running now. They just started.

You want either black or yellow locust for outdoor use. White locust is a different genus and not rot resistant.
