Due to a good tax season, I made the following acquisitions:

Lie Nielson low angle smoothing plane, large chisel plane and scraper.
Veritas/Lee Valley no. 7 low angle jointer and scrub plane.
Woodrat with Dewalt Pluge.
Dewalt angled finish nailer (cordless).
Festool Domino and power planer.
Jet oscillating edge sander.

I live in Raleigh near Crabtree Valley. If you would like to try these out, let me know.

Thanks,

David

I'm not sure there is anything "good" about tax season, as both the State and the Feds spend way too much of our money on frivolities. However, I am pleased to hear they did not get so far in your pocket that you couldn't spend money on true necessities, as you did.

Congrats.

Very impressive list of fine [STRIKE]toys[/STRIKE] tools. :eusa_danc :eusa_danc

Great quality. Please post you thoughts on these after you've had a while to put them through the paces. I'm curious about the Jet esc edge sander.

Doug:

I have been using the edge sander and am quite impressed with it. The oscillation is achieved by the motor moving up and down and the belt sliding on the other end with the use of a spring. I typically build larger pieces of furniture and this tool will get a lot of use. Your more than welcome to try it out.

Thanks,

David
