Thank you to all that put on the picnic. It was a lot if work with the good food and raffle. My first one was a rainy one, but great none the less. It's good to meet everyone.

Big welcome to our special guest Coleman, and thank you for your continued support of our group!

What rain? It didn't rain under the shelter, only when were unloading and loading. BIG THANKS to all those who made it happen. Do we have a count as to attendance? Looked like more than had signed up to come, which is GOOD! There was enough food left over to feed quite a few more. I'll be eating banana pudding an brownies for several days, but not so deviled eggs.

We had a few more than 80 attend this year. I expected the weather to discourage more people, but 80+ is a really good turnout. About the most we've had is close to 100. This was a great turnout and I want to thank everybody who came out and made it the success that it was.

This year I got to be first in line and got some of the brisket and deviled eggs, unlike last year when I wasn't so fortunate. All you have to do is holler "the line starts here" and dig in. I was still selling tickets while eating though and some of you might have gotten tickets with some potato salad on them.

And a good time was had by all. Along with the attendance we ended up selling over $13,700 worth of raffle tickets.

A special thanks to every one of you who braved the rain to come out to the picnic. I really appreciate all the kind remarks to me as well as to most of the others I overheard. It was very nice to have our fantastic supporter, Coleman of Kilingspors Woodworking Store and his family.

The food was great, the prizes were great, the people are the best anywhere. What more can you ask for?

We had a great time, I really enjoyed presenting the tool chest to Wade, he was really excited and I wish him all the best with his new tool kit. It was great seeing everyone who came out.

As Ken said, "A good time was had by all." An old expression of a successful social function which is so appropriate for today's Annual NCWW Picnic. Of course the food was great, but providing even more pleasure were the warm greetings extended by my many old and new NCWW friends.

Now, a clarion call to all NCWW members , "Go and make some sawdust!"

So you wern't able to overcome the saw we left you to compete with in the competition? It was a little bit out of square, but with your skill you could have made do.

Ken -- there was plenty of brisket when I went through the second time. Still a very impressive turn out considering the weather. We enjoyed it.

So Ken I spent most on f my time talking with folks and talking woodworking, I never even touched the hand saws for cutting, I did spend some time talking about handle design and hang angles and such. I had good time talking with everyone and I look forward to next time.

Many thanks to all who worked hard to make this event such a great success. It was great to see so many friends and acquaintances yesterday and I'm glad that I was able to attend.

Great job Barry!

Thanks, Berta. I enjoy photographing my NCWW friends and Outreach Event patrons. Of this set I especially like the shot of you that focuses on your Royal Wedding Fascinator.:)
