"best" brush for shellac?

2" Wooster or Purdy for larger projects, and a small Taklon for small projects(such as boxes). As for application over a stain. It may be best to spray the 1st coat, as the alcohol in the shellac may pull the stain up, leaving an ugly, blotchy mess. It happened to me.
