I've been kind of tied up with trying to get prepared for Lazy Daze and haven't had much time to visit or post so I'm way behind! :gar-Bi

I need to extend a late but much deserved thanks to Bas for helping me out. I had read his "slab to fab" thread and noticed that it looked like he was using the same model Skil router that I have. I had been having a hard time running down the required proprietary template guide bushing insert so I pm'd him to see if he had by chance had one and if so could he suggest a reliable source for the part. Not only did he point me to where he had gotten his but offered to let me borrow his until I could order and receive my own.:icon_thum I was strapped for time so I readily accepted his gracious offer and after a series of pm's and phone conversations I was off to his house last Wednesday to make the pick up.

It was a very nice but brief meeting as I had my 5 and 2 year old in tow and Bas had just gotten back into town only hours earlier. I did get to see the bird stand/cat facilities and it looks very impressive in person. My kids were thrilled to meet his 2 cats and we also got to meet his lovely wife as well.

I know, no pics it didn't happen but I didn't have a camera available and was trying to get outta his hair so a pic of the plate he loaned me will have to suffice as proof!! :gar-La;

Glad it worked out Brian. It's good to know other people HATE buying a $2 part with $7 shipping as much as I do :)

No hurry whatsoever, but when you're done, we'll do a shop "tour", pictures etc. :)
