Bearing replacement in Delta 20 inch bandsaw

I have a Delta Milwaukee 20 inch saw which has just started to sing the bad top bearing song.
Anybody replaced their bearings in the top wheel? What am I in for?

Did a 14 a few years back. You should have no trouble.

I would also replace the tires while your at it. Alot easier with the wheel on the bench.

Do you have the number on the side of the bearings?

I have done a couple of smaller saws, but never a 20". I suspect they are similar. You will need a small assortment of hand tools and a set of snap ring pliers. Disassembly/reassembly is pretty straight forward. Suggest you consider Timken bearings once you get the # off your old bearings. Put the new bearings in the freezer overnight and they will go into the casting easier.
