Anyway, I've always been fascinated by pirate stories. The best was Charles Johnson, "History of the Pirates". I spent many hours in the UNC Collection reading the book on microfiche! I think Amazon sells a version of it now. Also fascinated by two infamous female pirates that had connections to NC: Mary Read and Anne Bonny :mrgreen:
