Hey guys, my neighbor has a older Red Maple that has contracted some form of blight or possibly bugs of some type that have killed a section of the tree's canopy. It is however healthy looking by the bark and the leaves in the rest of the canopy to include the trunk. It really is like just one of the limbs in the canopy at this time.
He is preparing to attempt to find someone to cut it down and would be willing to give the tree to the appropriate person in return for their labors.
The trunk is approximately 22-24" in diameter (guesstimating) and would produce some beautiful wood if taken to a sawmill.
I would love to do it for him but I simply have enough on my plate right now.
If you are interested please give me a call
