Anyone Built a Daybed/Trundle bed?

Though I already made my daughter a pair of beds for her room, the LOML is now wanting something different (imagine that!).

A day bed, or trundle bed, is on the wish list. This is a bed with two mattresses, one being tucked up under the main one.

Anyway... I'm looking for designs, plans, whatever. Just curious to see if any of you have ever made one, and if you have an pictures/ideas/suggestions.

Wood Magazine from April/2000 has plans for a trundle bed. Their plans can be obtained through their web site http:/www.woodmagazine.com . I made one a number of years back and used wood platforms and good mattresses instead of the spring bed frames and it was very comfortable. Good Luck..
