My daughter just bought a bunch of drafting stuff on ebay, one big lot that probably belonged to one guy. Dates among the paperwork run from mid 40's to mid 50's. Boxes and boxes of lead, graphite, templates, drawing instruments, slide rules, scales, lead sharpeners, brush, basically everything she needed for class except a drawing board. It's all very cool and was a bargain compared to buying new stuff. I wonder what the original owner would think if he knew a teenage girl would inherit the tools of his trade for the 21st century.
