This loom is old enough they don't make the same parts to fit.
Yes, you can order parts but the new looms are slightly different and if I'm going to
modify parts I might as well make them. I know it could look better but
this is what you get on a tight budget.

Are you planning to use it yourself or is that for a client?

My dad made a quilting loom years ago for some women, including my mother, who made quilts. I have one that my mother made. Both of my parents died about 8 years ago and I donated the loom to a group of women from a church near Gaston Lake. They donated their quilts to a couple of charities.

Stokes County arts council started a fiber arts program and the chairperson is a weaver. She has asked me for help with several projects. This is for her personal loom.

My grandmother was a weaver, my grandfather made the looms for her. Unfortunately I don't think we have any left anymore.

That used to be very common, now it is very rare.
