Is the arrow in this photo pointing to an anti-kickback nib?

That raised nib has been touted as some kind of safety feature, but I'm not sure that "anti-kickback" was the descriptor.

It is commonly called an ‘anti kickback shoulder’. Designed to limit depth of cut per revolution.

Apparently SawStop says to not use them on their saws. I've looked for the specific language saying that, but I haven't found it. The cartridge can't stop the blade from turned when it grabs the shoulder or nib instead of the tooth.

It will be under the SawStop safety section, under '5. Blades':

Usually only low-tooth count blades can have them as there's room. However, the big name rip blades won't: Ridge Carbide, Forrest, etc.
