Another One Completed, but Almost Didn't Make It

13" Dia., Maple, Sapele, Cherry, Peruvian Walnut, Yellowheart.
200, 4 1/2" Dia. rings with 24 segments per ring = 4800 segments.
Rings were tapered from .210 to .060 before gluing into a circle.
This is my second one of these, first and last:gar-La;

Charlie....OH MY OH MY OH MY OH MY OH MY!!!!! 4800 tiny pieces of wood, all those cuts, all that gluing! all that turning! CRAZY Stunning! If I didn't know your talent and perseverance , I would say this is impossible.

I must stop now...my head hurts. How is YOUR head?

Also, I dropped about sixty boxes of #6, #8 and #10 screws, in various lengths. Do you provide sorting services? You certainly appear to be qualified in the superhuman patience department :)

Thanks for all the great comments. My head was hurting, but now it's swollen.:rotflm:

I cut segments today for another turning. Only 431 pieces. I need a break.
