I have an old Craftsman bandsaw from the 50s, no guards, needs a new blade, probably needs tires, lots of rust, but it was a good saw in its time and can be again. I kept it, thinking I would overhaul it and set it up for fine, small work. It is old heavy cast iron, a good base to build on.

If nobody here wants it I will try freecycle then it's off to the dump.

Pictures will have to wait till the weekend.

Hey Mike,

I'd be interested in taking it off your hands - it should round out my collection of 50's Craftsman machines nicely....(PM sent)

Thanks.:icon_thum

I was wrong the guards are there, the tires are there, more barn dust then rust, although there is some rust. I can not find the Craftsman name plate, but I'm pretty sure it is. The wheels are 12 inch.

It is very heavy for its size.

This is still available unless someone wants to take it to Sanford.

It seems to be a 1930s model.

Mike,
If noone else wants it, I'll take it. I will be down your way tomorrow and then Thursday thru Sunday. If you want, maybe we could find time to hit the Dairy-O on Old 52... I assume you are in King?

Rod,

I'm in Westfield about 30 minutes north of King.

I can send you a Mapquest link if you are sure you'll be here Saturday or Sunday.

PM me.
