Sapele is probably right. Saw a piece, and if the sawdust is more like powder, and not traditional sawdust, it is sapele. I really like this wood. It is stable, works easily and finishes and stains evenly.

While Sapele is a good guess, I am going with a very similar species but not the same - African Mahogany

Sapele and African Mahogany (Kahya, ar kyatt) are very hard to tell apart. Kahya does seem to be a bit lighter in color, and softer, but only the expert can distinguish between the two. It works and appears about the same, but some sapele can be much harder. Just enjoy the wood - it’s all pretty nice stuff...
