Poplar painted with a cherry top and reclaimed Douglas Fir doors (from a boardwalk in CT that had been there since the 50's)

The doors have a barn door style mount now. I will try to get pictures of it this weekend.

Nice piece Zach, the use of natural and painted wood really makes the doors pop, cool look.

Nice work, that's a nifty project with an interesting mix of finishes.

What are the 4 doodads on the top, 2 of which have antennas?

Nice craftsmanship Zach. The mix of finishing techniques makes your piece visually interesting and the use of reclaimed materials now makes it a unique piece with a history. You rock!

Why is all of that gadgetry needed by you folks?
We ditched the cable box when we moved, we ditched the DVD too. We got new modem and kept the wifi. We don't use cable anymore. Just HD Antenna and internet. Stream anything we want to watch. The router is support all the devices in the house. 2 Amazon Fire Sticks, 3 laptops, 2 tablets, 2 phones, a printer, something called a Cricut and guests that come and go. Gadgetry is what keeps the kid and wife happy. I use my 10 yo laptop and phone. Thanks about it. Happy wife....
