Good mornin,
woodpeckers has a sale on a Amana saw blade today, combination 50 tooth, seems like a good deal, but I have never had or seen these blades around. Has anyone had experience with and what are your thoughts on this brand, I have a 3hp Sawstop PCs. Thx for your help

I have the Amana full-kerf rip blade. I bought it based on a Stumpy Nubs recommendation and it hasn't disappointed.

I can't speak to the combination blade.

Amana is good quality. I use their shaper cutters and saw blades

I have 2 Amana blades
One, is a 80 tooth crosscut. This is a fantastic blade
The other is a Combo blade it is excellent. But when I got it sharpened it does not cut as clean as before. But it does cut faster. So, it is a backup blade for me now. Thinking about getting it resharpened by a better shop.

TBH, Amana, Freud, CMT and Forrest are all great, just depends on your preference.

I have no use for combo blades. Do everything , but nothing well.
I run the full kerf 80 tooth Amana as my crosscut, CMT 24 for my rip.

Actually that is exactly how I am running my saw. I use the exact same blades. The CMT rip has been worth every penny. But, if I am going to do a bunch of Carpentry I use a combo for that. But then. that is just me.
