Good guy has gone back to mobile sawing but usually can hook you up. Next chairs try Cypress fantastic to work with more weather resistant. Much wider boards also. I made a goodly batch of urns with it, everybody really liked them. Gorgeous wood

Is Cypress harder than Cedar? I noticed that I could dent the cedar fairly easily

yes it is, twice as hard, you can still dent it but you have to work at it.Plus cypress is virtually all clear

Eastern red cedar is quite hard at around a janka hardness of 900 Vs cypress at 510

Found a good source for cypress. Got around to making a couple more chairs for the deck.
