Hi Everyone,

Wondering where Triad people get their wood. Mostly interested in Oak but would like to know where to get all kinds for furniture making. Thanks in advance.

Check out the tab up top labeled Woodworking in NC, there's a list of sawyers and suppliers. ;-)

I can promise you one thing though, this site will never let you run out of lumber :-D

I'm not from the Triad, but I get mine at Hardwood Store of NC in Gibsonville. Great wood and great folks, always willing to help.

I second The Hardwood Store in Gibsonville but you are closer to Wall Lumber. Heres the sites link to sawers and lumber suppliers. Also see
this thread where we learned of a sawmill in Sanford. He is in the sawers link.

I was hoping to give him a call today for some more cherry but other things took priority.

I've bought from both Steve Wall and Hardwood Store of NC and been happy with both.

That said, I look forward to acquiring my next load directly from a sawyer on this list..

Internet Lumber is in Mocksville. A fairly straight down 40 from Kernersville. They usually have a good selection.
