abrasive storage

I am fairly certain that there are others here like me that are careful in the care and storage of their wood and tools but don't give much thought to their abrasives supply. I stumbled across this link this morning which you may find helpful: :wsmile:

Thanks for the link, Glenn! I can't seem to keep my abrasives flat no matter what I do but maybe this will help.

That is a good link to keep, for sure. I store all of my abrasive belts and disks in a covered Rubbermaid-style storage container to protect them from humidity shifts in my shop. I've seen belts less than 3 months old separate in a heartbeat when stored in the open, while I've also used belts more than 2 years old that have been properly stored.
