My wife asked if I could make a chair for my daughter, because she loved sitting in one at daycare. The daycare had to take the chairs away after a child stood up on one and fell off. The child was totally fine, the parents were not. It's made out of one 4/4 Red Oak board with jigsaw cut box joints and thru M&T for the seat. It can be flipped over as my daughter gets bigger. I figured out the size, seat hight and width, by measuring a pair of her jeans. Thanks for looking, Dave:smile:

Dave,

Great idea....nicely executed. I really like the box joint and the ability to turnover the chair when your daughter gets bigger. 4/4 oak should take quite a beating and last a L O N G time....granddaughter???

That is my goal with anything I make her. I hope she will be able to give it to her daughter/son some day. Thanks for the kind words. Dave:smile:
