A future turner in training

My grandkids were here today and Jason wanted to go to the shop. He was interested in the bowl that was on the lathe. A future turner maybe?????? He also enjoyed drawing lines with his finger in all the dust as shown in the first pic..

Keep him out of there!

You don't want a kid that young breathing sawdust and varnish fumes!

He might get WoodGuy disease!

Mike, with his attention span as short as it is, we were in the shop less than five minutes....no fumes or dust kicked up. Tracy, I didn't turn the lathe on...wouldn't want that bowl to come flying off.

Little kids are very sensitive! I took my 2 yo daughter in the shop once and now she is 23 and taking blacksmithing classes, weaving, spinning and making all kinds of crafts!!! :rotflm:
